ICC Birmingham has registered for ABPCO’s free Wi-Fi campaign, as the venture commemorates its first anniversary.
The main objective of the crusade is to urge venues that conduct conferences throughout the length and breadth of the UK, to offer free Wi-Fi to delegates attending conferences. The venture is supported by 190 venues that also include the Twickenham Experience and Brighton Centre.
Nick Waight, the Managing Director of ICC Birmingham stated that they have offered delegate Wi-Fi free of cost to all delegates for more than twelve months. He said that they had realised early enough that this was one of the facilities that should be provided automatically. He also stated that ICC Birmingham was really delighted to be a part of the ABPCO’s Conference Cloud crusade and back them in their attempts to emphasise the significance of providing value to the end user and reacting to the shifting requirements of the market.
Michael Foreman, the Chairperson of ABPCO also stated that when considering the future, their campaign would go on concentrating on meetings and conference venues, making certain that they will avail he backing of many other bigger Conference Centres like ICC Birmingham. He also added that they plan to expand their campaign in the course of coming six months to one year. They also have plans to attempt helping the bigger venues with imaginative modelling so that these centres would be in a position to provide free Wi-Fi to delegates. Moreover, they would also be creating the Conference Cloud website so that it can become a tool for reference for people who are organising conferences, assisting them to determine where free Wi-Fi is offered in the UK and they could always concentrate on the main concerns of the PCO’s and buyers.
