The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is offering a free assessment session. The free 60-minute skills and safety riding assessment will be provided to every motorcyclist in UK over the next 4 months, available from now till the 30th June of this year.
IAM has launched IAMRideFree, its free taster campaign and has teamed up with Kawasaki UK, along with Lee Bowers and Emma Selway, to create the ultimate skills competition. Lee is a stunt riding champion backed by Kawasaki. Emma is a car and bike racer.
Lee said riding at high seeds is for a safe place and not on a road. His tricks involve the need to ride at slow speeds, that he taught himself. Emma said a lot of people think riding at speed is the skill and way to have fun, but learning slow speed skills is a great deal of fun too.
You can sign-up for the free taster session by visiting their website (http://www.iam.org.uk/ridefree) Applicants will be allocated rider taster session with a participating group located nearest to the applicant.
