A whole range of taster sessions are being provided to families to give them an idea of what the Hudson leisure centre has on offer. This is a part of the free family fun day that is being hosted by the Hudson leisure centre in Wisbech on Sunday the 23rd of September. The timings for the same would be from 10 o’ clock in the morning to 4 o’ clock in the evening.

Some of the free taster session would be free trampolining that will be held from 11am to 1 pm, swimming sessions from 2pm to 4pm and soft play from 11am to 2 pm. Alternate activities would include painting of the face from 10am to 1pm, and a variety of crafts, arts and sensory games play throughout the day.

This free fun day has been arranged as a joint venture by the Cambridgeshire County Council, Fenland District Council and Young Lives. A study about what the youngsters and their families think about leisure services, especially those targeting disabled children below fourteen years of age will be conducted by Young Lives.

Though free lunch and refreshments will not be offered, facilities have been provided for families who have brought packed lunches.

It is mandatory that parents or care takers remain with children through the course of the day. People who are interested in participating in the free fun day taster sessions would have to call 01480-379800 or send an email to community.supportservices@cambridgeshire.gov.uk at the earliest to ensure places.
