Honor Oak to host free street dance sessions for young poeple

Free street dance classes of the Love2Dace programmer will be held in Oak Honor to give 8 to 18 year olds the chance to learn, attend shows and events on street dancing. The sessions will be launched by Lewisham Home wit Albany in Deptford supporting it, at the Honor Oak Community Centre. The centre on Turnham Road in the London Borough of Lewisham, will be regularly hosting sessions from 12th September (Monday). Sessions for 8 to 11 year-olds will be from 4pm to 6pm and for 12 to 18 year-olds, it will be from 6pm to 8pm.

Free taster sessions will be conducted between 27 July and 16 August on Wednesdays. Love 2 Dace held 63 sessions in which 246 people took part, last year. Growing 4 times more than the previous year. For more details call up Carmel or Zaylie on 07984 355 826. Or email to love2dance@albany.org.uk.
