Free car park will be an important part of the plans for Spalding’s Holland Market, said the developers. Since, the free car park is an important aspect of the town it will not be removed from the plans. Michael Moran, representing Corbo, UK interests of Holland Market owners assured the shippers that the free park will stay put. Many people have raised the concerns about losing the free parking service. Shoppers at Holland Market and in the town centre are benefiting from the parking.

Michael Moran assured that the car park will continue to be free for everyone and there are no plans to take the scheme away. On expanding the retail and leisure units, the free car parking will remain, he added. They could easily charge the shoppers for parking, but they want to give best shopping experience to the customers.

By considering the importance of car parking for shoppers, they will remain to offer the car parking for free. As retail orientated developer, they are committed to making the shopping comfortable. The free parking service will attract more customers to the Holland Market and town centre.

This means people in Spalding can enjoy free parking service. Their further details on the plans include retain areas on both sides of Winfrey Avenue, bus station and Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field, in the next six weeks.
