The upcoming popular Hither Green Festival is your chance to enjoy a local festival full of fun, which will be celebrated for over a week. It will be running for 9 days, starting on 17th May, Saturday, up to 25th May, Sunday. The 6th edition this year, promises to be more fun and creative.
As there is something for everyone, families, music overs, gardening buffs, fitness maniacs and others can all join in the fun. Lots of the activities intend to connect and enrich the community. The events are free. Some are relatively cheap. The festival starts off with a Food Arts and Crafts Fayre on Saturday, between noon and 5PM, at the Clock Tower Piazza. The festival gives children and family various activities and fun, like, the Children’s Teddy Bear Picnic, or the poetry and storytelling evening before bedtime. There are many events on various days throughout the 9 day period, taking place at different venues around the area.
