Hinckley’s new leisure centre offers free swim sessions

May 7th, 2016 by Sandy

Hinckley’s new leisure centre has been recently opened and a host of free, regular swimming sessions are being offered to customers. The new leisure centre replaces the old one, built at a cost of £150 million, for the Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, and is on Coventry Road. The company, Places for People Leisure, has been appointed to not only design and build it, but also run the centre on behalf of the council for the next 20 years. They have released the timetable for the pool and classes, which is viewable on the site- hinckleyleisurecentre.org.

Children aged 8 years and below must be accompanied by an adult and can swim for free at any public swim session, but not during ‘splash’ sessions. Those enrolled in the Leisure Centre swimming lessons, either children or adults, can swim for free during public swim sessions. During all public swimming sessions, disabled persons can also swim for free. Those aged 50 yeas and above can swim during 5 sessions in a week for free, offered during daytime, in evenings and weekends, over the week. For further details on the free sessions for swimming and other information, contact the Leisure Centre on Hinckley 610011. Or please go to the website- hinckleyleisurecentre.org.
