The Small Business Advisory Service for Health and Safety Executive NI, namely the Health and Safety works for NI (HSWNI) will be holding a sequence of six sessions that will elucidate to the company how they can get a method statement and a construction health and safety plan ready. Regarding the workshops; the objective of these sessions are to provide owners or safety managers of the smaller construction firms to be in a position to utilise templates and worked out samples and the participants will also have the chance to learn to write out a method statement by themselves.
As mentioned earlier there will be a series of six workshops the first of which will be conducted on Thursday the 2oth of September of the current year in Carrickfergus Enterprise from 10 in the morning to 12 noon. The remaining five session will be held between 10am and 12.30 pm on the 4th of October at St. Patrick’s Centre, Downpatrick, the 18th of October at Terrace hotel, Magherafelt, at the same time, on 8thof November and from 10am to 12.30 pm at Omagh Enterprise, Omagh, on November 22nd between 10am and 12.30 pm at Acorn Business Centre, Ballymoney, and the sixth session will be conducted at CIDO Innovation Centre Craigavon on the 6thn of December again between 10am and 12.30pm.
