A Grand Theatre production, called ‘A Mad World My Masters’, will be staged featuring a live jazz band on stage, from 5th March (Thursday) to 7th March (Saturday), at the Church Street theatre. Before that, the Grand Theatre, with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and the English Touring Theatre (ETT) will be joining hands along with Starbucks in Victoria Street, to host jazz events on the Sundays of 22nd February and 1st March. The events will give coffee drinkers and jazz music lovers the sultry sounds from the performers Bobby and Jamima. Also known as Charlese and Matt, they perform regularly with a soul/blues flavour in Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool. Tom Vernon the guitarist, and Nicci the vocalist, will also perform on 1st March. A Mad World My Masters, a unique production, is RSC’s and ETT’s first collaboration together to bring this Jacobean comedy, of Thomas Middleton, come to life, based on 1956 in Soho. Exclusive ticket offers to the free events that run from 1:00pm to 3:00pm will be available.
