Giveaways by West Sussex Council for Christmas shopping

December 13th, 2014 by Sandy

The West Sussex County Council has a shopping campaign running, called ‘A West Sussex Christmas’, to promote shopping locally and to discover more in this festive season about the county. The campaign runs until 24th December, 2014, and hundreds of pounds worth of prizes and free Christmas giveaways will be offered through the council’s Facebook and Twitter pages. The competitions are trying to show why people should consider West Sussex as the number one Christmas destination this season. For the chance of winning prizes, all that people have to do is to first go to ‘West Sussex Matters’, the council’s own Facebook page. They can share the posts on giveaways next. On Twitter (@WSCCNews) they can use the giveaway tweets there to be retweeted. So, don’t miss the chance of winning the free giveaways.

Leader of the West Sussex County Council, Councillor Louise Goldsmith, said the county offers everything to get people into the festive spirit. One can go shopping for Christmas gifts at local high streets, shopping centres, farmer’s market, small traders, boutique shops or independent retailers as they all offer exciting gifts, she added. She also pointed out that there is the countryside and coast to explore and many festive events to enjoy.
