All set to be a highly competitive affair, it will be an exciting and thrilling spectacle. Along with it there will be many other events to enjoy over the weekend. A raffle on the final day will be drawn for prises worth over £1,000, along with a fund raising auction.
Real Tennis is the original racquet game. Modern tennis has been derived from it. The game will see players using wooden racquets, to hit heavy cork-based balls with, played on a court, which when compared with a modern standard court, is much wider and longer.
The Prested Hall tournament is offering on the first day’s play, 200 free standing tickets to spectators, to watch the hard heavy ball be hurtled by competing players across the court, at amazing speeds, needing greater skills than probably other games.
