A fun day with ‘futuristic’ theme will take place on 13th May (Saturday), in North Belfast. The fee event at the Woodvale Park, will include a DeLorean car, a space simulator, plus competitions, bouncy castle, face-painting, workshops and a space trail. The fun day being organised will help support one of the chosen charities of the Lord Mayor, which this year is ‘Positive Future’.

The Lord Mayor, Alderman Brian Kingston, said it promises to be a fun filled day out, enjoyable for the whole family and will and aims to bring awareness for the work of Positive Futures. They work to support individuals with acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, those in the autistic spectrum and their families.

The Chief Executive, Agnes Lunny, of Positive Future, said about the free event that it is wonderful that they are the beneficiary of this great fun day and the Lord Mayor has shown great interest and support for their work while in office.
