Free workshops for new Apple Watch owners

April 21st, 2015 by Sandy

The free Apple Watch Basics workshops will start off on 24th April, the same day of the watch’s official launch, for the new owners of the watch at Apple Stores. New watch owners will be required to book their places in advance to participate in the programme. The blog-site Mac Rumours revealed that users at the workshop will learn basically about watch faces, Glances, gestures and more. Participants have to bring their iPhones (iPhone 5 or later versions) to the workshop, besides the new watch itself. Several of Apples retail stores in UK will also conduct a Stay in Touch with Apple Watch programme, which will focus on how to use the watch. It can learnt to be used for communications like sending emails and messages, take calls, send locations or a Heartbeat, amongst other gimmicks. Apple also offers free workshops on their other products such as iPhone, Mac, iPad or iCloud.

The two workshops, Apple Watch Basics and Stay in Touch with Apple Watch, are to take place once every ninety minutes and will run for 7 days a week (including weekends). This would give every new owner a chance to attend at least one workshop and it depends on how many of the buyers really get their watches on the launch day. Pre-orders have been stacking up. Probably in-store buyers should wait for their chance until June (the device too may not be available in-store until June), as the first sales all go online. Anyone placing an order or who already ordered for Apple Watch are all urged to attend the free workshops, as this small gadget could take some effort to figure out, being an entirely new product which is feature packed.
