The two hours workshop will explain the participants on key skills in how to find private fostering and report the suspected cases.
Cllr Sue Little – Portfolio Holder for Children’s and Adult Social Care said that protection of the child in any case is very important and hence exploring, assessing private fostering arrangements are essential one. The council is offering such knowledge to the residents in the area. the council wants to ensure that children under private fostering are kept safe and those who take care of them also get proper support and help.
The session will help in ensuring that those professionals, public or volunteers involved in fostering can clearly know about this type of fostering when working with children.
