A free workshop on mastering your DSLR for video filmmaking will be held on 4th November, running from 10am to 4pm, at the Pinewood Studios London. Canon Explorer, Simon Quarrie, will help photographers at the workshop (named ‘Canon Video Event’) to make video films. Those not familiar with video would be motivated and made comfortable at creating movies.
The workshop will explain the way to create a visual narrative, the key techniques and the camera settings required. Participants will get the chance to be hands on with the latest Canon, Rotolight & Tiffen equipment. They also get a short tour of the house of British cinema, Pinewood Studios. Lunch will be provided too.
Simon Quarrie who has built a business of shooting both photo and video, has successfully worked across a range of genres. Working on both video and photography, he is known for creativity and storytelling. With a passion for both cinematography and wedding photography, he has travelled the world working for clients.
