There have been free workshops on business financing organised by Black Country Growth Hub on Thursday – October 11 & Tuesday – October 23, 2018 at Black Country Growth Hub, Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre, Glaisher Drive, Wolverhampton WV10 9RT. The workshops will run from 9 am to 1 pm. The Black Country Growth Hub is an organisation which provides support for businesses in Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall & Wolverhampton.
The workshop will explain about traditional finance, Reasearch & Development Tax Credits, Business Grants and Chinese investment. The specialists will explain about what are these products and how to apply for them. It is open to all SMEs based in Black Country doing business for more than 2 years. The free workshop is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and being a part of Black Country AIM Programme.
October 11 Session will cover how to apply for finance and how to execute a financial cashflow forecast; developing an effective Business Plan or Pitch Deck; selection of suitable finance among various financial options available; Q&A session.
October 23 Session will cover grant funding, funding for innovative ideas, advice and how to apply for it; Cash payment/ corporation tax reduction while companies spending money on new product/process/service development or developing existing products; how to claim R&D tax credits; how to apply for unsecured loans / chinese equity investments; Q&A session.
