Microsoft has invited the developers in the UK for a Free Two-day Training during which they will be taught to put up a Windows Phone app from the fundamentals.
The motive is to take on the competitors Apple and Google, whose iOS and Android respectively have a huge number of developers working on various applications.
The huge volume of applications forms the basis of Apple’s advertising policy for its operating system product line. Apple claims that for every common and uncommon task, there is an application.
No doubt, the Windows Phone does have a number of applications, but far less than that of iOS and Android. Microsoft is concerned that the developers are concentrating on their rivals.
The training program is also targeted at competitors’ developers, students, enthusiasts, hobbyists etc among others. Apart from the training on design and development of Windows Phone apps, all the participants will be presented with a free sketch pad consisting Windows Phone design particulars.
The training will start on 17th September at London and 24th September at Manchester at 9-00 a.m and will last up to 6-00 p.m. All those willing to avail the opportunity have to register well in advance.
It confirms the deep desire on the part of Microsoft to ensure that Windows Phone does not lag behind the products of the competitors.
