Free tribute festival given date at Preston Park venue

A free festival that is being planned at Preston Park, has got its dates announced. The tribute festival with tribute acts to bands from all over the world, are set to land on Moor Park, Rockpost, on 4th and 5th of July, this year it has been unveiled. The free festival will feature 3 stages for music, besides a VIP arena, various food-stalls, beer-tents, a market space, plus children’s rides and activities too. Behind the UK Tribute Festivals is the same team responsible for holding the yearly festival at Prestwich, called Festwich.

The tickets to Preston Park are free (only booking fees of 2.50 to 2.90 pounds) and the dates with the official line up are to be announced soon. The tickets will be issued in limited numbers, only 8 per person a day, and with no gate entry tickets to the free festival. The festival curator, Jools Taylor, said the line-up is really good and people will be excited with it. David Borrow, Moor Park Councillor, said he was sure people of Preston will have a wonderful day, without giving any problems for residents here.
