A move to introduce free training in the Northumberland village will prove very helpful to jobseekers. The unemployed in this region can develop their skills and confidence. This training section is organized by the Hadston House Youth and
Community Projects Ltd, along with JHP Employability. Scott Dickinson, the Project leader said that they are trying to provide localized training for the people so that people can get high quality training in their area. People can participate without any worries as the training is easily accessible and cheap.
Training schemes offered here include Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), programs on business administration and customer service. Those how have completed their health and social care course, will be given a chance to attend interviews with local major care providers. These free courses can be benefited by anyone who is hunting for a job and is unemployed. They should have Jobseeker’s Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance.
On Thursdays, Hadston House will provide on-site service with Next Step. This move will offer support for people who are searching for jobs by helping them with CV writing and referrals to appropriate advice and training on interviews. During Monday’s advice and support will be offered to those below the age 25. Apart from that Hadston House helps 16 to 18-year-olds who are not yet employed.
By teaming up with CSV (Community Service Volunteers) they are introducing new programs that cover vocational, personal and social development, along with functional skills and employability options for individuals. It offers options from Entry Level to Level 1. Participants for the program should be enthusiastic and potential enough to partake in the training and employment schemes.
