Free tickets up for grabs for Titanic Belfast experience

The chance to win free tickets is being offered to the people of Derry to experience the iconic ‘Titanic Belfast’ on the coming Sunday, 8th January. Titanic Belfast’s NI Citizens Day is an opportunity for the local residents to visit free the landmark at their doorstep. It tells the story of the Titanic, right from her conception in early 1900s at Belfast, through her construction, launch, maiden journey and tragic sinking.

In votes cast for, what is known as, the ‘Tourism Oscars’, it won 1 million votes, beating stiff competition from 8 world finalists, to be named World’s Leading Tourist Attraction. Rivals included the Las Vegas Strip(USA) and Ferrari World (AbuDhabi). Recognising the key role played here by locals of Northern Ireland to make it King of the World, Titanic Belfast is issuing free tickets on its website- titanicbelfast.com/citizensday, on 4th and 5th January. Tickets will be released today at noon and tomorrow at noon for its second release.
