Free tickets to walking tour of St. Helens town centre

A walking tour around St. Helens town centre is being offered to anyone interested. This is part of a series of activities being offered by Through The Looking Glass. Marcia Farquhar is ready to take participants on a walk, on 21st November, Saturday, at 12:00pm. The walking tour called ‘A Song for St. Helens’, will go around the town centre and start near The Range Store entrance on Chalon Way West. The tour will cover The Citadel, the George Pub, the Hotties, Darwin Music Shop, Victoria Square and, with other surprises too, the pop-up Hunt & Darton Cafe on Church Square.

Marcia Farquhar is an artist who works on painting, photography, object making and in performance. Marcia’s work has been exhibited and staged internationally. She has been visiting to research on St. Helens and meet locals. She said the free event ‘A Song for St. Helens’ is really storytelling on the move, travelling across St. Helens. Although participants are welcome to join or leave at any location, they are encouraged to stay on for the full tour.
