Get ready to claim your free tickets, as part of the second Herts Big Weekend offer, to some of Hertfordshire’s top tourist attractions. Residents can register for the ballot to win free tickets to various tourist attractions across the county, like the Hatfield Park Farm or Knebworth House.
As part of the cerebration of the tourism industry of Hertfordshire, a great variety of attractions and related businesses will open their doors, or offer to lucky ticket-holders special gifts, on `1st April (Saturday) and 2nd April (Saturday). Some of the county’s biggest attractions have signed up to the Herts Big Weekend. The tickets offer great experiences on high wire, or white water, of close encounters with wild animals, or tour of magical studios and private cathedrals and also to magnificent stately homes. The event encourages citizens to discover their county more and is part of the English Tourism week.
Interested businesses can still join in the Visit Herts event, as there is still time up to 25th January. By random ballot, 2 tickets per household will be allocated, plus some family tickets also would be made available. Hundreds of pairs of tickets for a host of fun-filled activities and venues are available. Herts residents can go to the website- hertsbigweekend.co.uk, when registration opens to Herts Big Weekend, to apply for as many free tickets as they like, from 9th February to 3rd March. Anyone signing up for the Visit Herts newsletter, would get exclusive early access to the ballot.
