Free tickets are up for grabs to those interested in a Preview Screening of the hit BBC drama Last Tango in Halifax, which is returning to the TV screen for this Christmas. See performances of Nicola Walker playing as Gillian, Jocobi playing as Alan, Anne Reid as Celia and Sarah Lancashire in the role of Caroline, in the sneak preview next month, of the TV show’s two-part special for Christmas. The first part of the 2-part Christmas special can be seen at a free festive screening on 15th December (Thursday), evening at Halifax Playhouse, King Cross Street, Halifax.
Written by Sally Wainwright, the series became very popular and was viewed by 7.5 million viewers. Sarah said this Christmas special is a very eventful one. She added that it is brilliant to be back and great to see how over the last two years the lives of everyone has changed. Members of the public can apply for free tickets online (www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/last_tango_screening_15dec16). Tickets will be allocated by a random draw. The doors to the event open from 6:00pm, admitted on a first come, first served basis, and it will end at around 8:30pm.
