Free tickets to London’s open annual festival of theatre

The only free-for-all annual festival of theatre of London, the Free Open-Air Theatre season, returns. Running from 2003, the event this year is part of the London Bridge city Summer Festival, which is offering 40,000 free tickets. No need of booking, just come and take a ticket for a seat, to attend great theatre performances, within the heart of London.

The Gods and Monsters Theatre are presenting a new rock musical- Crime and Punishment, based on the original novel, a masterpiece by Dostoyevsky, one of his most influential works in the world of literature. The new musical production has songs by Toyah Willcox and has been adapted and directed by Phil Willmott. Rock music is used to express energy, passion and rebellion.

As part of the season, there will also be a children’s show. The theatre season runs from 1 June to 31 October, this year. Some 40,000 free tickets are being offered. This season will be dedicated to two classics of Russian culture, Crime and Punishment (by Dostoyevsky) and folklores from Poland, Ukraine and Russia.
