In Belfast the Christmas Lights Switch-On will be held on 18 November (Saturday). The annual event is hosted by Belfast City Council and marks the start of the big festive season. Derek and Jen of Milkshake Live, Bing and Flop, The Twirlywoos, the Cool FM Breakfast crew and the choir from Cavehill Primary School will all be at the front of the City Hall. The huge event will be featuring an evening of musical fun, with traditional carols and mini shows, just before the grand switch-on. But tickets are required for this free event. The Belfast City Council has come out with ticket information ahead of the night.
Tickets are required to be obtained online, or in person, from the Visit-Belfast’s Welcome Centre, available at 9am onwards on 3 November (Friday). A ‘print at home’ option has been added this year, so please click through for tickets. Email information is not sufficient for booking.
