Not only can the public cast their votes for the annual Guide Awards, which is going on, but can also apply for free tickets for the awards evening. You can cast your vote in 3 different ways- going online, using a form, or by texting it. The annual awards event is to take place on 6th January, 2015, at the historic Kings Theatre, at Southsea, Portsmouth. Held in association with Kings Theatre, the Guide Awards celebrate the very best in the area’s arts and entertainment, selected across 13 categories, highlighting the quality in arts and culture here.
Go online and vote for your favourite, or nominate somebody not mentioned for the award. They will invite you to apply for the free tickets. Nominations are cut down to a short-list of 6. Winners will be announced on the evening, including a Special Achievements Award, and followed by lively entertainment. Voting closes on the midnight of 14th December, a Sunday, this year.
