Ed Fries, a computer gaming industry legend and co-creator of the Microsoft Xbox, is all set to speak at the Abertay University having its location in UK’s Dundee, Scotland. The speech has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, the 8th of July, 2014, at 07:30 pm. This tech event is being organized by the IGDA (International Game Developers Association) along with Abertay University. Entry is free for all, but booking is needed.
Ed Fries, a thirty years veteran in the video games industry, was the key techie in creating Microsoft’s world famous gaming console, the Xbox. Apart from Microsoft, Ed has worked through gaming corporates such as Atari and Razer. Currently, he heads a 3D gaming conglomerate, FigurePrints, while also working in the advisory capacity for gaming industry companies, as well as studios. This free event will see Fries discussing about his life-time achievements, career and also offering advice during his conversation with IGDA Scotland chair Luke Dicken, while also taking direct audience questions too.
