Tickets for Ceremonial PracticesPeople living in Tower Hamlets who wish to watch Danny Boyle’s opening ceremony rehearsals for the London Olympics, they have more than 800 tickets for the taking.

Film director Danny Boyle who won the Oscar and lives in Mile End is the man is person who is handling the event is of the impression that they could allure about a billion TV viewers worldwide.

In the opening scene the whole of the Olympic stadium would be completely changed into a British countryside with about 10,000 performers who had volunteered to participate.

There would also be real animals from the farmyard consisting of 70 sheep, three cows, 10 chickens, nine geese, two goats, three sheepdogs and 10 ducks combined with participants playing games on the village grounds and farmers ploughing their lands.

Mr. Boyle would also be working together with Underworld the musical act for the audio effects.

These impressive free tickets were wangled by Tower Hamlets’ Council from LOCOG the organisers of the Games. The tickets would be distributed to those who come and avail of them first.

People who have successfully got the tickets would be required to assist to test the Olympic stadium and also see one of the last practices for the opening Ceremony.

In order to apply for tickets residents of Tower Hamlets would have to register at my.towerhamlets.gov.uk. Otherwise they could avail of paper application forms by contacting 020 7364 501. The last date for applications would be the 12th of July and it would close at 11.59 pm.
