Free tennis sessions for Portsmouth children in May

May 12th, 2014 by Sandy

In a bid to get children try out tennis, the Lawn Tennis Association is inviting children from schools for a free introduction session, throughout this May. Under the National Mini Tennis Month, hundreds of school children are being invited. Both Portsmouth Tennis-Centre and the Portsmouth Tennis-Academy are campaigning to attract over a thousand young players to the sport, by showing them how easy, fun and exciting it is to play the sport.

The national event will be opening in 1,000 venues to offer free tennis tasters, as part of the Great British Tennis Weekend. To book a free session at a park, school or club that is near, for anyone interested, please visit the website- greatbritishweekend.com. Any person wanting to get back to the sport, or likes to play tennis for the first time, can book a free session.
