Girls Golf Rocks is a national campaign which is run by England Golf and the Golf Foundation. Those girls aged between 5 to 18 years are encouraged to take part in Golf and try out the sport.
In Oxfordshire, there are four clubs – Drayton Park Golf Club, Henly Golf Club, Kirlington Golf Club and Tadmarton Heath Golf Club joining this campaign and organizing for free taster sessions.
The upcoming free tasters are as follow:
On Saturday – May 18, 2019 at Kirtlington Golf Club, Kirtlington OX5 3JY between 2 pm to 4 pm.
On Sunday – May 19, 2019 at Henley Golf Club, Harpsden, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire RG9 4HG between 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Other two clubs have already organized free tasters on May 4.
There is no need for any experience or equipment required for attending free tasters. Girls those interested can join the courses running between May 25 to June 29, after the taster sessions at the above two clubs. The four members of Henley club are the ambassadors for the programme.
