Free mountain bike taster sessions are being offered by Outdoor Recreation NI, following the Single Speed European Championship held during April in Castelewellan. Life Adventure is providing these mountain bike tasters. Over 260 mountain bikers belonging to more than 19 different countries participated in the championships and also raised up the profile of the Castlewellan Mountain Bike Trails. This session is part of the Get Outdoors Weekend on 20 & 21 September, offered on the Castlewellan Mountain Bike Trails.
There are two free mountain bike taster sessions being offered. One takes place on 20 September, Saturday, with focus on adults on the morning session and younger teenagers at the afternoon session. The other session is on 21 September, Sunday, catering further to the adult bikers. To get more details go to the website- getoutdoorsweekend.com. As places are limited booking in advance is advised. The mountain biking session is part of the over 50 free outdoor activity events being held in places across Northern Ireland.
