Free taster sessions for children for new group at Woodcraft Folk

Woodcraft Folk in the Bury St Edmunds is planning to start a new group of children & young people. The group consists of 9 to 12 years old and run by local volunteers.

Woodcraft Folk is a charity registered in England & Wales and it is formed for children and youngsters. This is a best place for children to grow with confidence and team work. The activities are based on co-operative principles engaging them in games and developing teamwork.

The activities will make the children to take decisions in the group, to co-ordinate & co-operate with each others and to create self confidence and have good relationship. There is a night group which include co-operative activities to find social justice related topics, games, arts, crafts, bushcraft skills and singing. The members will also have opportunities to take part in camping trips.

There will be a free taster on Tuesday – October 16, 2018 organised to get a new group of members to run half term after October month. The session is being scheduled between 5.45 pm to 7.45 pm at the Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, Bury Saint Edmunds IP33 2PJ, UK.
