Free taster sessions during the Alive Extravaganza

The Alive Lynnsport and Alive Downham Leisure will be offering free taster sessions, open to all on 2nd and 3rd April, between 9:30am and 3:30pm. During these Live Extravaganza sessions, not only are members but also non-members are welcome to try out some of the latest equipment installed recently at Alive Downham Leisure and Alive Lynnsport.

Visitors would be able to try out the new Synrgy 360 function space, that’s based on circuit training concepts. Combined with existing quality equipment, the new equipment will give users a better experience in workouts, taking them to a new level of fitness. New equipment in Alive Downham includes the Stair Mill, the upgraded cardio-equipment. This cardio-vascular machine looks like a small escalator. The FlexStriders offers total body workout but with low-impact. The TRX Suspension Space combines all to brig a new fitness experience to visitors coming in.

Staff will be at hand, during the free taster sessions, to show how the new equipment can help achieve fitness goals. It can be tailored to meet individual needs of fitness. The equipment has been funded by the West Norfolk Council for £100,000. Leader of the borough council, Councillor Nick Daubney, said they are pleased to support the trust’s continued development by investing in new equipment that will help pop0le improve their fitness. Chairman of Alive Leisure said they have striven for excellence in fitness training opportunities always and continue to upgrade and expand to improve customer experience.
