A fund day will be hosted by the Burton Sailing Club at the Foremark Reservoir. To be held on Saturday (16 August) the fun day will allow families to try their hands at powerboating and sailing. The fun day called Foremark Family Fun Day is based on a seaside theme. There will also be donkey rides and sandcastle competitions, all showcasing what the Foremark reservoir can offer. The reservoir in Derbyshire spreads over 230 acres. This sailing club with a long history behind it also runs regular racing events during evenings of Wednesdays and Sundays. Experienced instructors and members will be there to help run the powerboating and sailing taster sessions.
