There have been two free taster sessions on Tuesdays – one on April 16, 2019 and other one on April 23, 2019 at 104 Abbey Rd, Barrow-in-Furness LA14 5QR. The sessions are focused on school children.
On April 16, the first session will be held for secondary school children at Cookes building from 6 pm to 8 pm.
On April 23, the second session will be held for junior school children at the same location from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Ms Karen Hall, Director at the Theatre Factory said that if the kids enjoy their free session, then they can join their weekly theatre group classes. At their theatre, they are playing games, creating new shows and making stories with their own ideas. The theatre has made their performance of ‘Mr Deans Marvellous Trip’ at the Forum and they will start their next production after these free taster sessions.
