Are you interested in singing? There has been a new initiative called “Singing 4 Pleasure” launched for all people who want to sing and socialize in Northampton. There will be new classes started in this spring along with a free taster session.
The free taster session on singing will be held on Wednesday – February 27, 2019 at Royale & Derngate, 19-21 Guildhall Rd, Northampton NN1 1DP. The session will run from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. This is a weekly project on singing for the member of the community.
The registration process will also take place on February 27 along with free taster session. The regular classes will begin from Wednesday – March 6, 2019 at 11.30am. Each session will cost £6 per week and payable on term basis.
Recent days, singing is recognized and accepted by all, as it is good for our wellbeing. The sessions will be taught by the professional music tutors couple Nicolas Moodie and Anna Gould. These day time sessions, which will be run in a friendly and relaxed environment, will give the participants a chance to improve their vocal skills and in finding new friends.
Nicolas is having experience of 10 years in teaching music and working with various schools, Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trusts and teaching privately for all ages of people. His wife Anna Gould is also having good experience in the field and has worked as vocal coach for cathedral choristers, school children and for many singers of different styles. The couple performs baritone and soprano soloists professionally.
There is no need for any prior experience and no audition process involved also. There is no stressed environment. The classes focus on fun and pleasure where the participants can try to find out singing skills through warm up, learning a fun mixed music whether traditional or spiritual songs, songs from the shows or pop songs.
