There has been a free taster session on sailing organized by Barnt Green Sailing Club on Saturday – May 18, 2019 at The Club House, Upper Bittell Reservoir, Cofton Church Lane, Cofton Hackett, Worcestershire B45 8BH. The taster day will be open between 11 am to 4 pm.
The club is joining the campaign of RYA’s “Pushing the Boat Out” taster sessions at their club where budding sailors can make use of this chance to try out sailing for free. The club is organizing such event along with its affiliated organizations in the UK.
There were around 39000 people taken part in the open day which inspired thousands of beginners to step into the game.
The sessions are also open to non members to experience sailing. The participants will be accompanied and guided by an experienced instructor. They will be provided with safety equipment, free demonstrations and advice. The participants are encouraged to come in a waterproof coat and extra footwear.
