There will be a free taster open day held on Saturday April 6, 2019 at Liverpool Theatre School, 19 Aigburth Road, Liverpool, Merseyside L17 4JR. The open day will run from 10 am to 3.30 pm.
The young male performers those interested are welcome to take part in the free taster day and the open day is being held to motivate the young boys to undergo professional training on theatre skills. This is boys only taster day and it is open to all boys aged 14 years and above.
The participants will be offered with an introduction to acting and musical theatre, various interactive workshops on various disciplines. The boys can get great chance to meet the team members and to know more about training.
Principal at Liverpool Theatre School – Maxine Ellis said that she looks forward to organize such boys only taster day and more access to such training is important part of their ethos to motivate diversity among students. As male students are less in count on their courses, they want to balance it by running a special day for boys.
The school is offering the Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre and Professional Acting of the Trinity College London. They are also offering scholarships along with The Stage and the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation which cuts its audition fees to make their professional training accessible to more students.
