The list of houses includes a Georgian terraced house in Kensington, and an Edwardian home in Richmond that has a garden too. . Majority of the homes listed for the purpose have pets that live in the homes and they need to be taken care of when the owner was out on holiday.
Therefore if a person has a ticket for the Olympic Games, but has no place to stay, he/she could always opt for house-sitting, provide they like pets and gardening and stay for free when the city would be teeming with hundreds of thousands of tourists when the Games commenced.
