There has been a free workshop on Soccer Skills organized on Saturday – June 29, 2019 at Horsham Football Club, The Hop Oast, Horsham. The Chelsea Football Club coaches will conduct free taster sessions for the children at Horsham between 10 am to 11 am.
Chelsea FC will join hands with the Horsham FC staff for providing free coaching. The workshop has been organized by Horsham District Council as a part of Horsham District Year of Culture’s 52 Project to celebrate culture of the district.
The workshop sessions are being conducted as two sessions for children under 8 years to under 11 years and two sessions for under 12 to under 15 years. The sessions will be at the new 3G pitch ground with five skill zones with each staff. Kids can come in proper footwear on the pitch.
Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure for Horsham District Council – Cllr Jonathan Chowen said that Culture with sport is very important and by bringing Horsham FC and Chelsea FC to join hands in the project to offer for free to children of the borough will inspire involving young ones in the Year of culture.
There will be an inflatable football target and the Chelsea FC mascot Stamford the Lion on the day. The new ground is open to even parents also and they can enjoy the facilities and refreshments.
