Free Snow Leopard DVDApple opens a great opportunity for its MobileMe customers. All MobileMe customers can have access to free Snow leopard. Under this free scheme, the customers can upgrade to superior version Lion and leave behind MobileMe. Besides, they could also migrate to iCloud. On 30 June, MobileMe will be replaced by iCloud altogether. Mac owners must use OS X Lion to be able to use iCloud and furthermore they need to access Mac App Store to upgrade to Lion. Snow Leopard and Lion users alone have access to Mac App Store. In short, customers without a new operating system will lose out on online cloud storage of Apple.

To tackle this issue, Apple is providing MobileMe users with Leopard for free of cost. They are also being offered with free Snow Leopard DVD. To get the DVD, MobileMe users should fill in their address after logging into their account. Customers are encouraged to move to the new operating systems as the OS X Mountain Lion launch will provide them with many iCloud improvements. After getting the free Snow Leopard installed, customers will have to download lion from Mac App Store by paying £20.99. At present Snow Leopard is offered for £26.00 on Apple store. No confirmation has received from Apple considering the launch of this free offer in the UK.
