South Cambridgeshire council has planned to organise for free sessions and workshops to the local businesses and the residents who have plans to start new business. In the council, there are found around 900 newly startups every year and at present the city has more than 8000 companies.
The city council wants to offer free advice and support to the existing businesses to grow more and help the new ones in starting up a company. The council has scheduled free drop in sessions and workshops from June 4 regularly at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge. The experts of Nwes are going to offer their advice and support to the attendees.
Nwes is one of the non profit enterprise in the UK which is engaged in the services of providing total support to existing businesses and for those opting for self employment. The ultimate aim of these sessions is to help the newly startups and existing businesses to improve and grow their businesses.
Drop in sessions:
The attendees can meet the Nwes Business Experts and have one to one interaction to talk about the subjects and get clarified about their queries which may last for around half an hour. After the drop in sessions, the attendees can also sign up for further support sessions. These drop in sessions will be held every month on first and third monday from June 4th onwards.
Free Workshops:
There will be a free workshop with the topic “first steps to start up” held on June 7th & 8th between 9.30 am to 4 pm. The workshop will cover the detailed information about the starting of a new business which is a customized one for new entrepreneurs. This will tell about the registration process with HMRC, legal processes, cost workouts, financial planning and forecasts etc.
Also owners and managers of existing businesses can take part in free workshops separately which is scheduled on June 15th & 18th between 9.30 am to 4 pm. These sessions will cover to help the participants in finding out new opportunities and improving personalised skills for the growth of their companies.
As there are limited places for free workshops, booking is necessary.
