The movie, the best Exotic Marigold Hotel is to hit the theatres on February 24, Friday. Before its release, a free screening of the film will be held at Bath Odeon on February 23 at 6.30pm. Readers of The Guide are given a chance to watch free screening of the Marigold Hotel film, at a special performance on the day before the release of the film. The guide has joins together with Bath’s Odeon Cinema and Twentieth Century Fox.
To watch the free screening of the film, interested people should queue at the 50-seat Screen 2 cinema. Since it accommodates just few people, the first 50 people in the queue will only be able to enjoy the film free of cost. Entry should be done with a copy of the Chronicle only.
The film is an adaptation of the novel These Foolish Things of Deborah Moggach. The movie is shot in Udaipur and Jaipur and is set in Bangalore. In the movie, a group of retirees are attracted to spend their days at a recently-restored Indian palace hotel owned by young man who runs out of cash. Guests who arrive at the hotel, finds that romantic idyll promised in the brochure was lacking. However, their stay at the hotel turns to be adventurous and pleasing.
