Free petrol provided by Halifax to enhance car loans

Free Petrol by HalifaxPeople taking personal loans to purchase a car will be provided with 100 pounds worth of free petrol by Halifax.

Any person taking out a personal loan from Halifax will be offered 100 pounds of petrol totally free of cost.

This promotion is being offered on a pre-paid fuel card and the offer can be availed of from any of the firm’s branches, via the telephone or even via the internet till the 21st of October. This offer is valid to any client who takes a personal loan ranging between 5000 and 25,000 pounds to buy a car through a one year to seven year duration.

This offer of free petrol comes at a time when the cost of petrol has been increased further in the UK. As per the most recent fuel statistics offered by the Automobile Association the average price of unleaded petrol increased by 3.3ppl in the month of August to 135.5ppl, whereas the cost of diesel went up by an average of 3.1ppl to 40.4ppl.

The Head of the Personal Loans Division in Halifax, Mr. Chris Phillips remarked that by and large people generally take out a personal loan most often to buy a car and that the offer from his company is planned with this particular requirement of the people, so as to try and relieve some of the absolutely required expenses that owners of vehicles have to bear.
