Free entry will be allowed for people who have Carlisle season-tickets for the clash between Cumbrians and Accrington. In the first round of the Capital One Cup where Cumbrians take on the League Two side Accrington, the club will offer free passes for those who have the club’s season-tickets. The match would commence on the 13th of August and will be played during the week.
The Managing Director of Carlisle, John Nixon informed the official website of the club that they were looking for novel ways and means to show their gratitude to the fans who had season tickets and it was decided right form the beginning that one way of doing that was to offer them free passes for the primary round of matches in the Capital One Cup as well as the Johnstone’s paint Trophy if the match was drawn for home.
He stated that it was a home draw and that the club was happy to be in a position to greet them into the ground for this match totally free of cost. Greg Abbott was happy with the draw and added that nobody could ask for anything better than a home draw in any competition and they were delighted to have been able to get that with this match.
He remarked that the match would be a difficult one as both teams will hope to start off the season with a good win. They said that there would not be any better method to do that other than win the competition before the start of the First league game that would take place during the weekend, so they had to be doubly ready.
