A free party will be held for Manchester Pride announced the bar operators of the The Refuge by Volta, at a hidden street behind iconic The Palace Hotel. The grand hotel’s new bar and restaurant The Refuge by Volta, will organise the party called ‘Come As You Are’. The event will be held on the 27th and 28th of August from 12pm to 10pm.
The bar operators, Luke Cowley and Justin Crawford, said although the bar will not be launched until September, the doors will be open, for the party, to a secret space outdoor behind the hotel with a 250-capacity. Come As You Like coincides with Manchester Pride event and have a special selection of the DJs playing across the August bank holiday weekend.
The bar operators Unabombers will be bringing in DJs in the likes of Will Trap, Gina Breeze, Now Wave, Paulette, Meat Free, Trash-o-Rama, Jamie Bull, Krysko, Aficionado, Jon Jo Jury, Jon Da Siva and Drunk At Vogue, to the free event.
The Palace Hotel on Oxford Road, the iconic building of Manchester, had undergone a multi-billion pound refurbishment and the Refuge by Volta will be opening partly from July to hotel guests, but will be fully opening only on 14th September to the public.
