Free classes on topics preceding the birth of a child are being offered for free online in Lincolnshire. The website called Netmums, one that is supported by the government is providing antenatal classes to the people residing in the county of Lincolnshire.
The course that is of a four weeks duration will include emails sent to the participants every week, and the course would commence when the mothers to be into their sixth month of pregnancy.
Every session would cover plans that have to be made before giving birth, how the mother-to-be can learn to handle labour, bond with their babies and learning to manage the way in which the earlier children would respond to the new member to the family.
There are sessions for first-time mother-to-be as well as for moms with children who require a course to refresh them.
All women and even those who do not have the finances or those who are hard up for time to attend regular classes can participate in these online antenatal sessions. This is especially intended for moms who would prefer to take the course from the comforts and confines of their homes.
Jane Massey, the Lincolnshire Editor for Netmums said that the period during pregnancy and giving birth can be quite costly since the mother-to-be would have to shell out cash for baby cots and baby clothing ranging from nappies to perambulators.
