Lord Birt to give a free lecture on why government is ineffective

Former Director-general of the BBC, Lord Birt will deliver a free talk on why the government is unsuccessful. Business people are invited to listen to a free talk that will be conducted next Thursday University of Liverpool is the venue for the free lecture. In order to benefit from the talk people should book their seats. Lord Birt has served the BBC as director-general for 1992 to 2000. He worked as a strategy adviser to former Prime Minister Tony Blair during the period 2000-2005. At present, he is the independent director of Eutelsat and chairman of PayPal Europe.

This lecture is the third of the Burning Issues series of University of Liverpool Management School. The series will host more lectures on a wide-ranging topics.
