This year the Juice Festival will be again returning and to offer a preview, there will be a launch-cum-taster event, presented by the Team Juice- of Annabel Warnock and Robert Palmer. This free event will be the Big Juice Launch, outside Debenhams, on 24th October, Saturday, at intu Eldon Square, in Newcastle, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
The theme of this year’s Juice Festival is going to be ‘Seen and Heard’. As a preview to some of the exciting events, Science Buskers will perform cool magic tricks using science. Bad Taste Cru will have breakdancing dancers performing a preview of their workshop at Sage Gateshead. In readiness to the Big Juice Read event, there will be activity stations set up for younger visitors to explore the Alfie Bloom world. Young buskers will perform to passers-by, showcasing different art forms. Team Juice members in blue T-shirts will be around to answer anyone wanting to know more about the festival. The launch event offers kids to join mini-workshops or the craft station, while parents can plan for the festival, which is falls during the school holidays. And it is 100% free. On the day, donations for the St. Oswald’s Hospice will be collected. The free event will have lots of freebies and competitions too.
