People owning homes in Ellesmere Port are being encouraged to benefit from opportunity offered to insulate their homes.
All owners of homes as well as lessees are being provided, by Cheshire West Warm Zone (CWWZ), with the chance of increasing energy efficiency in their premises, reduce their fuel bills and safeguard the environment. This is being offered totally free of cost after the home has been surveyed.
This venture has been made possible by the finances from ScottishPower that has earlier powered the Warm Zone to offer many homes with cavity wall and loft insulation methods. Councillor Herbert Manley, the Executive Member for Prosperity said that from the September of the previous year the CWWZ had set up insulation in as much as 2,700 houses throughout West Cheshire and got over 8,300 references from the owners of homes.
As the night falls and the temperature goes down during the winter months that are just round the corner, and with the cost of fuel prices spiralling upwards, it was more significant than ever to ensure that the people living in the locality were kept warm with lucrative and energy effective methods.
Sophie Thorley, the Director at Warm Zone remarked that it was absolutely vital for people to go on and apply for the survey. She mentioned that this free offer was only available till the end of the next month. At the end of October all funding provided for the cavity wall and loft insulation would stop and people would have to pay 500 pounds per measure for the same insulation thereafter.
In order to apply for the free insulation people could either call CWWZ for free on 0800 033 7873 or log on to www.cwwz.co.uk.
Once the applications have been received the CWWZ would arrange for the free survey without any obligations that will inform the home owner the kind of work that would be involved and arrange for the installation.
Ms. Sophie went on to say that they anticipated a terrific requirement for insulation, more so because the firms that were supplying energy had already given people warnings regarding the hike in energy prices in the approaching winter and all household budgets were becoming more difficult. She said that people needed to register immediately to make sure that they are well and truly insulated before the cold season sets in.
